Meet the app
Keep a private visual record
The Pip Plan photo journal stores a compressed photo copy in local app storage. Journal photo files are marked to stay out of device backups.
App instructions and features describe the release candidate. Public App Store release is pending.
Only add a photo if you want one
The app opens the photo picker or camera when you choose to add a journal entry. The journal is optional.
Use a similar angle and light if you want to compare your own pictures. The app does not diagnose photos or predict recovery.
Your journal does not become public artwork
Pipping does not put journal photos into widgets, notifications, companion artwork, or sharing.
A photo selected from your Photos library may still have its original copy there. Removing the journal entry does not remove that original.
Local storage has a practical tradeoff
The journal has no developer server copy or cloud sync. Deleting the app or losing the device can mean losing the journal.
Read the deletion guide before removing anything you want to keep.
