Delete a Pipping Journal Photo
Open the private photo journal, use Delete for the entry, and confirm Delete in the dialog. Choose Keep it if you want to cancel. Removing this entry does not remove an original image from your Photos library.
App instructions and features describe the release candidate. Public App Store release is pending.
Delete the entry you intended
- Open the private photo journal and find the relevant entry.
- Use that entry’s Delete control.
- Read the Delete this photo? confirmation.
- Choose Delete to proceed, or Keep it to leave the entry in place.
- Check that the entry disappeared. If the app reports a failure, the photo may still be in the journal.
Avoid deleting the whole app for one entry
The journal provides an individual-photo control. Removing Pipping itself also affects other local records, so it is a broader action.
A separate original in Photos or another device has its own controls. Review those copies separately if your goal is wider deletion.
Treat the confirmation as the decision point
Pipping does not provide a developer-held cloud copy of the journal. Do not rely on support to restore a deleted photo. Keep the entry if you are uncertain.
